I looked around my kitchen this morning, and noticed some things that are definitely blue,
and that I thought might make a pretty collage. . .
So here goes:
These are bits of china, or parts of dinnerware sets, that are stacked on the old walnut cupboard at the end of my kitchen.
Many of you will recognize at least two of the patterns!

No time for an elaborate post today; after spending the weekend moving stuff into
her apartment, Anne still has some shopping to do and I am always on board
for that! So we are heading off for a day in the stores.
Here is how we left her apartment yesterday, with boxes and furniture just scattered about:

Do you see the moldings on the walls? The wide baseboards? The gorgeous old oak floors? At the (high) ceilings, there is beautiful cove molding. This place is going to be adorable . . . so I'm off to assist Anne in that!
Please forgive me for not leaving many comments -- I hope to remedy that soon! -- Cass

ReplyDeleteShopping takes precedence but we do want photos. Have fun.
ReplyDeleteOh, always SO fun decorating a new space! I can't wait to see those before and after pictures Cass.
ReplyDeleteYour blue dishes are gorgeous, Cass. I love the patterns and the shade of blue. Just bought some blue "chintz" patterned plates in a shade similar to some of yours and CAN'T find the right shade napkins or placemats...
ReplyDeleteLove Anne's apartment. Is it in a house or old building?? It certainly doesn't look like a run of the mill complex. Lovely!
Question: You once had a problem getting your post pictures to enlarge when we clicked on them. How did you fix that? Mine always used to enlarge, now they are only a little bit. Don't know if I accidently hit something...
