My First Ebay Sales!

It was extremely nerve-wracking, but I survived the listing and auction of the furniture Howard and I picked up in Connecticut two weeks ago. And then discovered we couldn't use, and decided to try and sell on Ebay. Which . . . we did.

The rustic country French table with the breadboard leaves sold:

As did the set of 8 carved rose-velvet side chairs:

Which did have nice details:

So.
I did it.
The table and chairs are all still in my house,
but I'm hoping they'll toddle off on their bow-legged French legs to their new homes soon.

And that's my Show And Tell for Friday! Thanks to Cindy of My Romantic Home for hosting. Go visit!

Have a wonderful weekend, my blogging friends. I am still mostly at the hospital with Pop. -- Cass

  2. I certainly wish I had know about those chairs! Of course, I don't know how I would have gotten them here ... minor detail.

  3. Well good for you! We sold a car on ebay, and it was a major pain in the a**. But, it did sell, and it did get picked up eventually.

Hey it's sunny in CT today, hope you're getting some sun too.

  14. Congrats! I have plans to sell a bedroom dresser on Craigslist within the next 2 weeks. Never did like the silly thing anyway so someone else hopefully will enjoy it in their home.

  15. New to blogland and found your site. Your home is gorgeous and you are quite hilarious. I will be dropping in to see more for sure. I have a sheltie so I was very interested in your little dog. Very sweet. I am a cat-lover too so I don't know if you would be interested in my blog but I would be happy to see you there. Deb
