Three Or More... Friends!

This may be my shortest-ever blog post ... on Three Or More Tuesday.

Thanks to Tam at The Gypsy's Corner for hosting.

************************************************

So today, it is Three Or More Friends at That Old House. . .

Mardi and I have been friends since Kindergarten, back when we chiseled the alphabet on stone tablets and played Pin The Tail On The Mastodon. On Sunday, she and her husband Joe came to That Old House for dinner.

We had drinks outside because it was a glorious day, dinner in the dining room because we'd had enough sun by then, and dessert in the conservatory, after the sun went down and the glass room was lovely and cool.

Mardi brought something called a Cookie Pie, which was fantastic, and which I took pictures of, but my own computer went belly-up this morning, I am using my daughter's laptop, and can't figure out how to load pictures.

Then late Sunday night, I twisted my knee and heard a loud pop. Not good. I'm keeping the leg elevated and iced, and it's feeling better, but I am spending only brief bits of time at the computer.

I considered putting this into a Vintage blog party -- after all, Mardi is my vintage-est friend -- but decided against it. She has too much ammunition she could use against me. :-)

  1. Never, I repeat never tick off the ones who have dirt on you. Most likely you can match her story for story so she may not want to get too sure of herself.
You are the second blogger today that I have said "keep the ice going on the injury". It really helps.

  6. OOOOHHHH girl, popping in the knee is not good. Take care, stay off it, ice it, elevate it, if not better in a couple days see your Doc. ( Us old nurses don't know when to quit)...xoxo~Kathy@ Sweet Up-North Mornings...

  7. Sounds like an enjoyable time. Sounds like you were in school during the same time frame I was. :-) So sorry about your knee - definately see a Dr. if not improved in a reasonable amount of time. Left someone else wait on you. Popping like that does not sound good. Also, sorry about your computer - had to replace mine April 3rd.

  8. Constant ice is correct with elevation.

Looks like you all have a good time despite the other issues. What a lovely setting to dine in.

    Take good care ...

  15. Oh dear - knees aren't supposed to be at all musical, and while string-like creaks and wheezes might be heard once in a while, percussion-like pops are never good news! I hope you heal in a hurry.......but don't hurry it.

  17. Such fun with friends! I love your outdoor Patio? Now is that grass between the stones? Or something else. I want so to plant something between my stepping stones. Hubby took up one path because of the grass, and keeps moving the stepping stones and not putting them back! I thinking on planting peppermint!
Invite your friends over, they bring the food and drinks and you set with you leg up and have another great time! That sounds good! Get better soon!!!
