It's a gorgeous summer weekend in New Jersey!
Here at That Old House, we are celebrating and we are grateful!
Because. . . remember this?
Yeah, so do I.
That's why on days it looks like this:
. . . we are outside, rejoicing in the gift of a summer day. Today is a graduation party for my niece.
Tomorrow, my oldest friend, Mardi, and her husband come for dinner.

Step away from your computers, ladies and gents, and enjoy the gifts of summer!
Happy days -- Cass
I do try to step away. Yesterday I was in front of my computer from 7am - 5pm. I took a break to shower! I will try to walk away today.
ReplyDeleteCass,
ReplyDeleteI can definitely see why you are enjoying your beautiful summer day. Take JOY in the moment.
I would be enjoying our summer day too if I wasn't under the weather.

Your home and yard are gorgeous. So glad you are having a wonderful summer day. It's going to be around 113 today here, so I think I will be forced inside most of the day, but I will try to look outside as often as possible. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the time with family and friends. Just came in a few minutes ago - got a little warm out there.:)

I just came in from some garden work and it is a beautiful day here too. Dinner guests tomorrow, today I relax.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely weekend. Today Don is allowed to drive for the first time since his surgery so we'll be out for a little while enjoying our wonderful weather too - then probably sit in the little grove of trees out back and enjoy it more - with iced tea - and graham crackers - I love graham crackers.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful you are enjoying such a beautiful day ... & tomorrow is Sunday! TTFN ~Marydon
ReplyDeleteWe had a wonderful "outside" day.
ReplyDeleteNow we will eat dinner, watch a movie and then fireworks at our nearest town...
July is fun!

I love summer the best with flowers and sunshine and gardens growing and kids playing and remember the days of clean sheets on the line in the yard along with fresh lemonade? Enjoy your company.

Look how absolutely beautiful your house looks. I am appreciating every hot sweaty moment of this Florida summer. I can't wait for winter!
ReplyDeleteGreat post. This winter was something else for me in North Dakota. So glad to be here in sunny Florida now, it was beautiful today!

Amen to a beautiful, sunny day! I was thinking the other day that snow and winter clothes will be here all too soon. Summer and flip flops can stay as long as possible.
ReplyDeleteThe longer the better. ;)
XOXO
