Mosaic Monday -- Back From The Beach House!

Welcome to the latest-ever Mosaic Monday!

We're back!

We left That Old House to fend for herself this Labor Day weekend, and treated ourselves to three days at our family beach house on Eastern Long Island.
It was pure heaven!

Gorgeous weather, great food, and a terrific Sunday spent with my brother and his wife. Plus, we came up with some plans for the refurbishing of the house. More on that another time!

We're still unpacking (why do we need so much for just 3 days?) and have laundry to do,
so I'm hastily posting a mosaic of some what we brought back with us, from the farm stands.

My sister-in-law Doris and I bought an enormous box of tomatoes -- jillions of them-- and split them; now I have to figure out what to do with jillions of tomatoes. Check back on Foodie Friday. :-)

Thank you, Mary, for hosting Mosaic Monday at Little Red House!
Go visit; Mary's pictures are always worth it, and today's is a beautiful seasonal collage.

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend and is also slightly sunburned. -- Cass

  3. The first thing to do with them is bury your face in the juicy sweet tomato flesh and eat one for me. I love tomatoes especially farm market ones.
    Those sunflowers are absolutely divine.
